Not the result we wanted for our first league game in charge at Gornal Athletic be we can look back and take the positives out of it again like Tuesdays game.
We could make excuses and say decisions went against us especially the second penalty I don’t know where he got that one from, or a lot of injuries but we can’t because we still have the ability in the ranks to succeed.
But ultimately goals win games and first half we had enough chances to maybe put the game out of reach for Coventry Copsewood but it wasn’t to be, it was evident from the last two games we are getting a style of play in possession and defensively we are getting more organised out of possession.
The supporters today were fantastic getting behind the lads and seeing the baby steps we are taking to create a team that will run through a brick wall for each other and be entertaining on the eye to watch.
We now look forward to travelling to Bilston Town next Saturday and if the home tie is anything to go by you will all be in for a treat.
