Evening all.

Writing this out a few hours after the game.

So today we went on our travels for the second game of the season to Balls to Cancer woman in Tipton. Last season we played BTC away in the cup in the 1st round and won 4-1, but we never take anything for granted, it did not mean we would beat them today as we beat them last season.

Balls to Cancer finished 5th last season in the premier so they ain't no pushovers and definitely a team not to underestimate.

So we started off with the first goal In under 15 mins. Once we had a goal we started to then dominate the game with another goal to take the lead of 2-0 into half-time, going in at half time 2-0 was great but it could have easily been 4 or 5.

BTC were struggling with players getting pulls and strains and were starting to struggle, so I opted to take control of this game and changed the formation to be more attacking but within a few minutes of the 2nd half BTC scored, I did think to myself have I made the mistake here but we stuck with it and then got a goal straight back and then we completely dominated the game to finish 6-1 winners.
Great performance all round and again so proud of these ladies.

Beth was player of the match for her solidness today and came close to getting on the score sheet.

Today's goals came from
Nicole 2
Shaquanna 2
Libby
Kat (pen)

Next week we again are on our travels to Coventrians who have started the season off really well and we know we are in for a tough game, but will we go there determined to get something.

Thank you to the supporters for coming to support the ladies today and we hope to see you again next week.

Thanks all
Stu
